Membership Terms
Draft for legal review before public launch · Last updated: November 2026
1. Membership and eligibility
Majlis Connect is a free, curated professional network launching in Dubai. Applications are reviewed individually. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Members must provide accurate information and cooperate with proportionate identity and professional verification.
2. Participation
Members are expected to engage constructively and respond reasonably to relevant communications and introductions. There are no mandatory referral quotas. Engagement may be reviewed periodically, with an opportunity to respond before ordinary membership restrictions.
3. Professional conduct
Members must communicate respectfully, avoid harassment, misrepresentation, fraud, spam, unwanted solicitation and misuse of other members' information. Members must comply with applicable laws and professional obligations.
4. Introductions and confidentiality
Majlis Connect facilitates introductions with consent from both parties. Members must not share private contact information or confidential business details without authorization. An introduction does not constitute endorsement or a guarantee.
5. Referral arrangements
Any referral compensation is optional, independently agreed, transparent to relevant parties and subject to applicable laws, professional rules and required disclosures. Majlis Connect does not take a percentage of member referral fees and does not guarantee payment.
6. Equal access and conflicts
All approved members receive equal core membership privileges. Matching decisions aim to prioritize suitability and fairness. Relevant conflicts of interest should be disclosed. Recognition for contributions does not confer automatic referral priority.
7. Events and fees
Core membership and ordinary introductions are free. Optional future events may carry disclosed participation fees. Sponsorship does not purchase privileged access to private member information or referrals.
8. Reviews and complaints
Members may report concerns to hello@themajlisconnect.com. Reports will be reviewed fairly, with confidentiality where reasonably possible. Serious risks may require temporary suspension pending review; ordinary decisions should provide an opportunity to respond.
9. Suspension and termination
Membership may be suspended or ended for serious misconduct, misrepresentation, repeated breaches or sustained non-participation after fair review. Members may request withdrawal.
10. No business guarantees
Majlis Connect does not promise specific introductions, clients, sales, partnerships, financial returns or the quality of third-party services. Members independently assess and enter into business arrangements.
11. Acceptance
These terms will be presented for explicit, version-recorded acceptance during approved-member onboarding. Applying for membership alone does not constitute acceptance of the full membership agreement.
